Which silk bonnet should you give?
Choose a bonnet by both head circumference and hair volume. A cap can fit around the head yet still be too shallow for thick curls or long braids.
- For shorter hair and regular volume: SB25. The classic round body measures approximately 27–28 cm across, with a recommended head circumference of approximately 54–58 cm. Its ties adjust the opening. Very long, thick or high-volume hair may need more room.
- For thick curls and a slip-on fit: SB28 long style. The body measures approximately 50 × 33 cm, with a recommended head circumference of approximately 54–62 cm. It has an elasticated opening rather than adjustable ties. Select a long-style colour option: the separately named “Black Round Silk Cap” is a different shape and price.
- For long braids, locs and extensions: SB20. Its approximately 60 × 33 cm body provides length, while an elasticated band and tie ribbons help personalise the fit. It is sold as one size; contact us to check suitability if you need a specific head-circumference range.
Fit still depends on head shape, hair density and hairstyle. Adjustable ties offer flexibility, but they do not make a bonnet suitable for every size. Compare our mulberry silk bonnets before choosing.
What if you do not know her size?
If possible, ask for her head measurement or the dimensions of a pillow she already uses. For a surprise gift, a friend or family member may be able to help.
For a pillowcase, measure the pillow insert from seam to seam in centimetres. The SB11 option featured here is 50 × 75 cm; other sizes have different prices. Choose by measurements rather than relying on “standard”, “queen” or “king” labels. A pillow insert is not supplied.
The SB30 eye mask measures approximately 20 × 8.5 cm, with a centre height of approximately 6.5 cm. It has a silk-covered elastic strap and no adjustment buckle. Consider whether she enjoys wearing an eye mask and prefers a fixed elastic or adjustable fit.
If you cannot check fit or colour preferences, choose an e-gift card rather than guessing. You can add a message and select an email delivery date; scheduled delivery is by date, not an exact time.
Which gifts come in a presentation box?
SB65 and SB67 include a presentation box. Choose one of these sets when the unboxing experience is part of the gift.
- SB65, A$299: one 48 × 74 cm pillowcase, one silk-filled eye mask and one scrunchie. The pillowcase has 19 momme mulberry silk outer fabric and a lyocell lining. It should not be confused with an unlined, all-silk pillowcase.
- SB67, A$299 for three pieces or A$319 for four: one 48 × 74 cm pillowcase, one silk-filled eye mask and either one or two scrunchies. Both options include your selected white or black gift box. The extra piece is a second scrunchie.
The box is packaging, not one of the counted accessories. Neither set includes a pillow insert. Check that a 48 × 74 cm pillowcase suits the recipient before ordering.
For individual bonnets, pillowcases or eye masks, check the selected product’s pack contents. If you need gift wrapping, a printed message or a particular presentation, contact us before ordering to discuss your request. Buying separate pieces together does not turn them into one of the boxed sets above.

How far ahead should you order?
Plan around the product you choose and the recipient’s postcode. Allow extra time around Christmas, public holidays and other busy periods.
- Individual bonnets, pillowcases and eye masks: orders are normally processed within 1–2 business days. Delivery to most Australian metropolitan areas generally takes another 5–10 business days after dispatch. Regional and remote addresses may take longer.
- Physical gift sets: allow approximately 10–15 business days after placing your order for arrival, as stated on the gift-set pages.
- E-gift cards: delivered by email after payment and order processing, or on the selected date. No physical card, gift box or silk product is included, and there is no shipping charge for the e-gift card itself.
