Refund policy

At Silk Bonnet World Australia, we want you to feel confident in your purchase. If you are not completely satisfied, we’re here to help.

Please read our return policy carefully before submitting a return request.


1. Return Eligibility

We accept returns within 7 days of delivery.

To be eligible for a return:

  • The item must be unused

  • The item must be in its original condition

  • The item must be in its original packaging

  • The item must not show signs of wear, washing, damage or alteration

For hygiene reasons, items that have been worn, washed or used cannot be returned.

We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions.


2. Return Process

To initiate a return:

  1. Contact our customer support team within 7 days of receiving your order.

  2. Provide your order number and reason for return.

  3. Wait for return approval and instructions before sending the item back.

Returns sent without prior approval may not be accepted.


3. Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs.

We recommend using a trackable shipping method, as we cannot be responsible for lost return parcels.

Original shipping fees (if any) are non-refundable.


4. Restocking Fee

A $10 restocking fee applies to all approved returns.

This fee covers inspection, processing and handling costs.

The restocking fee will be deducted from your refund amount.


5. Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval status.

If approved:

  • Your refund will be processed to your original payment method

  • The $10 restocking fee will be deducted

  • Any original shipping fees will not be refunded

Please allow 3–7 business days for your refund to appear, depending on your payment provider.


6. Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

Provide clear photos of:

  • The item received

  • The packaging

  • The shipping label

We will assess the issue and provide a suitable resolution.


7. Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene and safety reasons, we do not accept returns on:

  • Used silk bonnets

  • Used silk pillowcases

  • Used silk eye masks

  • Any worn silk sleepwear

Items must remain unused and in original condition to qualify.


8. Australian Consumer Law

This policy is in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

If an item is faulty, not as described, or does not meet consumer guarantees, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement or refund as required by law.
