Fit and sleeping position

Wrap the mask around the head and fasten it securely without excessive tightness. Its broad shape covers more of the temples than a conventional narrow strap, but blackout performance still varies with facial contours and fit.

The wide band may feel more substantial against a pillow than a narrow-strap mask. Side sleepers should position the closure away from the main pressure point where practical.

How to use

1. Place the mask over closed eyes with the shaped edge positioned comfortably around the nose.
2. Position or fasten the band so the mask feels secure but not tight.
3. Check for pressure around the eyes, temples and ears before settling to sleep.
4. Loosen or remove the mask if it causes discomfort, restricted movement or skin irritation.

Care instructions

Check the care label before washing, particularly where the mask contains padding, elastic or fastening hardware. Hand wash gently in cool water with a mild silk-friendly detergent. Do not bleach, soak for long periods, scrub or wring. Press out excess water with a clean towel, reshape the mask and air dry flat in the shade away from direct heat and sunlight.

It may be, but comfort varies. The wide band may feel more substantial against a pillow than a narrow-strap mask. Side sleepers should position the closure away from the main pressure point where practical.
